It could be a short story about yourself, your connection to an "old world", an experience of participating a social project with the help of your techniques.
My performance work involves encounter, exchange, and sensory inquiry. During immersive events designed for small groups, the audience participates in making meaning through embodied interaction. Examples include walking performances in response to lithium mining in Tibet, an overnight camp for broadcasting the dawn chorus of birds, and an experimental documentary featuring food heritage stories in which audio was accompanied by physical objects that the audience could smell, touch, and taste.
In my recent project Water Radio, participants were invited to play a water conductivity sound circuit, taste sea plants, make rubbings of mangrove bark, and feel the resistance of water on their skin. By drawing attention to the ways that human culture and nature are entangled, my projects shift the audience’s ability to notice, witness, and revere these intersections.
My current project Oil Ancestors expands my engagement with animism, which explores the relationships between human and other-than-human beings, often through ritual practices. Acknowledging plants, animals, rocks, metals and bodies of water as persons is the basis of many indigenous traditions and also informs a legal movement called “the rights of nature” which questions the popular belief that nature is a resource for humans to own, use, and abuse.

Technique/Concept that I want to share : It could be a skills, tool, knowledge, craft technique, DIY technology or even just a concept.
skills I have been learning:
-simple solar circuits, especially with reclaimed panel scraps
-physical computing w/ Circuit Playground
-handmade websites with HTML and CSS
-small game engines (ie Bitsy, Twine)
-code with Python and p5js
skills I can readily share:
-gardening, composting, seed starting, mushroom cultivation, herbalism, horticultural therapy
-pickling and fermentation
-handmade and cameraless photo processes (chemigram, cyanotype, direct animation on 16mm)
-documentary, field recording, and/or oral history with audio or video
I'm having trouble narrowing down the options. At the moment I'd like to offer a tutorial explaining how to livestream sounds from your environment from a phone to an online soundmap. We can learn more about a place by listening to the everyday sounds of that environment.
