An open ended collaboration between Maya Minder and Zohar Messeca Fara on creating a hybrid device from kombucha leather and electronic circuit.
Thanks to reopened borders and lifted travel restriction during the pandemic 2020 the Idiot.io representative and flexible PCB artist Messeca Fara was able to travel to Switzerland and expand from a remote to a physical exchange at the Hackteria OpenScience Lab. The expanse is a prototype of a speculative future to come of hybrid designs merging organic compounds and electronic circuits in e-textiles and beyond.
