Hello:) This is Aesun Kim. I have been working on wearable performing garment and I wrote about "wearable technology for artist expression" as my master thesis. After graduate my MA currently I have been worked "LOVE WEAR" re-fream project in Berlin.
From the previous performing garment ( Im_plant). I was faced with making a stable electronic interface for dancers’ dynamic movement. I am in the stage to develop my fiber optic textile interfaces for a garment. Would be nice to discuss the sensor interface. I would like to share my DIY steps and struggle. Perhaps, someone who wants to make performing garment, it should be useful

I would like to share the combination of Leds, condcutive thread, fiber-optics for vertical way.

Step 1: Stitch the conductive thread under the led.

step 2: connect the 3d modeling connectors and fiber optics.

step 3: turn the light !
