I use max/msp to control a DIY laser machine. The max patch takes pixel graphics. (i will make another page to show how to make the DIY laser machine....)
Firstly coat the conductive fabric with photosensitive resin (those for SLA printing).
I use vinegar and hydrogen peroxide, salt for etching, and Silver Ripstop Shieldex Bremen from Statex.
coat it with photosensitive resin, use "resistive dye-alike method" to protect the part by laser curing it, the disadvantage is the resin is sticky and messy, you need to put a plastic film under the fabric to protect your table.
after laser curing the exposed part are harden and it looks like this
rinse it with alcohol to remove the undeveloped resin as much as you can, then put the fabric in solution of vinegar and salt and hydrogen peroxide and wait for 30 minutes to an hour. (this is the part i want to improve with water soluble photosensitive resin from FEASUN)
it also gives photo level result with conductivity!
test the resistance, its something like 37 ohm/square, it was 0.02 ohm/square, it drops a lot but maybe can be improved with more practices!
